By Sulayman Bah Gambia local-based Scorpions yesterday afternoon suffered a hugeNational Deaf Scorpions set-back following a 3-1 loss to Moroccan premier league club FUS Rabat. Under Bonu Johnson’s guidance, the home-based outfit endured–the team’s first defeat in a test match. Details about the match were sketchy as we went to press yesterday evening. The Gambian contingent flew in Rabat over the weekend to intensify their preparations ahead of their must-win CHAN qualifier match against Senegal. The CHAN competition is the local version of the African Cup of Nations organised by CAF with strict restriction to only home-based players. The Gambia CHAN team won Mauritania three months ago in a test match held at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.]]>
