Last season defending champions of The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) male League Division One Hawks FC will play against last season winners of the FA Cup Wallidan FC on Saturday at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.

As reigning champions after 26 years wait, the Banjul-based club Hawks would want a flying start in this season and winning their first medal would be a strong statement making.

But that wouldn’t be an easy task. Up against the most successful club in domestic football Wallidan, who won last year’s FA Cup in the final after defeating Brikama 4-2 on post-match penalty shootout at the Independence Stadium, the stakes would even be higher.

The super cup final will kick off at 4 pm.
