Foroyaa has received reports that trucks carrying wood are being stopped on the road by ECOMIG Forces. It is not clear what is responsible for this act. Gambian drivers carrying locally harvested wood express fear in transporting them.
Foroyaa would contact the Ministry to find out whether there is any directive stopping the transportation of wood harvested from the Gambia.
