Has the President been violating the anti littering law by throwing bottles in the river?
If every Gambian were to follow the example of the President and throw bottles in the river, how many bottles would we have afloat? How will that help to ensure the enforcement of the anti littering law?
It is a common saying that leaders should live by example; that practice should back precepts. It is therefore necessary to temper beliefs with the requirements of best practice in keeping the environment clean and the law which the government has put in place to ensure environmental sanitation and cleanliness.
