Readers should again be alerted that Supplement “B” that should constitute the content of the Barrow Administration Draft Constitution for general notice of all concerned is still not published as we go to press. It is obligatory for the text to be published for public notice as the final version that will be laid at the National Assembly for review and legislative processing by the National Assembly members.
The Attorney General should ensure that this is done the soonest otherwise the public notice issued on the subject matter would be misleading.
The general public has already been debating on a text that is not published as Supplement “B”. it is strange that a text on the Barrow Administration Draft Constitution is circulating without its publication in the Gazette as Supplement “B”. The real text of the Barrow Administration Draft Constitution would only be affirmed if it is published in the Gazette as Supplement “B” as indicated in the gazette notice issued on 14th August, 2024.
There should be no further delay in the publication and Foroyaa should not stand alone in calling for its publication the soonest.
