By Sulayman Bah Gambia international Hamza Barry has rejoined his club in Malta Valletta after his visa problem has been sorted over the weekend. Barry’s visa problem left him unable to join his team pre-season leaving him stranded in the Northern part of Africa, Tunisia. The 20-year-old traveled to Tunis after Tunisian giants and ex- African champions Esperance de Tunis invited him on a try-out. He impressed the club gaffer but wasn’t signed to a deal after the player’s representatives and Esperance failed to reach an agreement over a transfer fee. The disagreement reeled in few days after Valletta denied Hamza, a Nusrat graduate, move to Laliga Getafe who voiced interest to sign the Gambian on a season-long loan. However, the ex-Gambia Ports Authority starlet is now back at Valletta albeit lacking fitness, his return hands the Malta premier league champions a needed bolstering who’d struggled in the start of the season.]]>
