Eight year old, Habibou Barrow, the son of President Elect Adama Barrow passed away on 15th of January, 2017, at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH) and was laid to rest at the Kanifing cemetery on Monday the 16th at 2pm
.
Satang Sanneh the niece of President Elect Adama Barrow said the deceased and his sister who transferred from Manjai Kunda to Fajara just few days ago, was bitten by dogs. She said he was rushed to the health centre in Fajara. ‘’The nurse told us that they cannot attend to the boy unless we get a clarification from the police, then he was transferred to Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul where he finally died,’’ she explained.
He sustained more than one injury.
