GFF 2nd Division Roundup: All 3 Matches End in Draw

The three (3) matches played on Thursday in the Gambia Football Federation Second Division all ended in a draw.

BK Milan fought hard from a 2-nil down to a 2-2 againstRS Tallinding, Wagadu 0-0 Serrekunda United and Latrikunda United 2-2 Gambia Ports Authority.

In a thrilling encounter, BK Milan Football Club showcased remarkable resilience as they fought back from a two-goal deficit to secure a  point against RS Tallinding United.

The match began with an unfortunate setback for BK Milan as they conceded an own goal in the last minutes of the first half. Yusupha Manneh’s clearance inadvertently deflected into his own net, giving RS Tallinding United the lead going into halftime.

In the second half, BK Milan faced further adversity when goalkeeper Hassan Gomez made a critical error, allowing RS Tallinding’s Modou Lamin Sallah to capitalise and extend their lead to two goals.

BK Milan pushed back as  Ebrima Gibba, a substitute made an immediate impact, scoring a brilliant 80th minute volley in his debut, which reignited hope for BK Milan.

As the clock ticked towards full time, Matarr Ceesay headed a goal into the net from a corner to secure a complete comeback.

BK Milan, sitting in 2nd place needed a win to breach the gap from the league leaders to 5 points but the draw left the gap at 7 points. BK Milan won 8, drew 8 and lost 3.
