Coach Sulayman Kuyateh insists his switch to Gamtel Football Club is the right move for him.

Kuyateh recently put pen-to-paper with the Telecom giants on a two-year deal.

The deal, subject to his unveiling scheduled for this Saturday, ends Sulayman’s club-less days after he opted to end his six-year love-affair with hometown club Brikama United.

His departure there was triggered by off-the–pitch issues coming at the time the then Brikama Sports Committee was beset by a fallout with the zone’s agitated stakeholders.

Harping on his deal, Kuyateh said, ‘the move is right for me or else I wouldn’t have taken it.’

Last season, Gamtel FC went from champions to flops just after the club’s most successful coach Tapha Manneh vacated his post to join Liberian premier league club Liscr.

Asked what his next move will be, Kuyateh told Foroyaa Sport: ‘We will have to assess the team and build a good squad.’
