The world football governing body (FIFA) Wednesday revealed the full fixtures for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and The Gambia will begin its quest for a maiden senior World Cup appearance away to Burundi in Match Day 1 of the 10-game qualifiers to be held from 13th to 21st November 2023.
The competition—which is co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico—will register a minimum of nine African sides for the first time.
