Sam Jammeh had his dream of getting started between the sticks for newSam Jammeh 1

club Jaro come true playing at least the full ninety.
The 24-year-old joined Jaro in April a free agent following stints in Sweden.
The Gambia national team net-minder had been overlooked in four
matches played in the Finnish second tier until the fixture againsttable-topping KPV of Dawda Bah and Mathew Mendy.
It couldn’t have been better start for the Finnish-born Jammeh of
making a first full-time cameo for new club Jaro and against
countrymen; a onetime glamorous Dawda and former Scorpions captain
defender Mathew Mendy.
A win would have capped it up for Sam but it wasn’t one to be as KPV
ran with the points in which Belgian midfielder Tshibasu poked the
ball beyond the Gambian and to the back of the net.
Jaro had conceded thrice in four matches prior to Jammeh’s assignment
to the post. Had he kept a clean sheet, the former Vikingiit graduate
would have cement his place even when his main rival for the starting
spot Ohberg returns from an injury.
Sam’s Jaro are ranked fifth in the 10-team Finnish second tier.
