By Sulayman Bah Gambia goalkeeper Alagie Nyabally has inked a 3-year contract with Kenyan top tier outfit Tusker FC Alagie Nyaballyon loan. Nybally’s deal will run until June 2018 according to his Gambian club Real de Banjul. The ex-Bakau United man virtue of this contract becomes the third Real de Banjul (RDB) player to sign terms with a Kenyan side after Musa Sanneh and Matarr Nyan. And Nyabally, who until this deal was RDB’s captain, was delighted having seen the finer details of the completed contract. The 23-year-old Gambia international who clinched two GFF league titles with RDB said upon signing: ‘I have always wanted a new challenge for many years and it’s finally a dream for me to move away from Gambia and to play professional football elsewhere.” “I believe this is exactly the right place for me to start. I am looking forward to the whole team and the new things that will happen to me.” Club President, William Abraham also told RDB’s site over the transfer: ‘It’s with great delight that we have been able to move [Alagie] Nyabally away from our league into a professional one. We all know how difficult it is to move a goalkeeper in football but thankfully, after talking to all our contacts, this offer from Tusker came in and we decided to let him go.” “He will not lack company there as Matarr Nyan is already there at the club, so we are delighted for Nyabally and can only but wish him all the best.” Tusker FC is the third most successful club in Kenya with ten Premier League titles and has also won four East African CECAFA Clubs Cup titles. Nyabally’s departure will create a void in Real’s squad but unconfirmed reports claim the capital-based site are keeping tabs on Bakary Jammeh West Coast Region third division champions Brufut United’s goalkeeper. Jammeh is considered as Nyabally’s possible replacement.  ]]>
