By Sulayman Bah Gambia will tomorrow battle with Senegal’s home-based Teranga Lions in a CHAN qualifier match. The local-based Scorpions under the guidance of former national team gaffer Bonu Johnson will play at the Leopold Sedar Senghore stadium in the first of a two-legged tie. The match, already dubbed a Senegambian derby, will renew local football rivalry between the Lions of Senegal and Gambia’s Scorpions. Coach Johnson who last weekend left for Morocco with his charges to prepare for the match is set to name his squad for the clash. The local-based Scorpions this week lost to FUS Rabat from the Moroccan top flight 3-1 with Gamtel’s midfielder Modou Sarr scoring Gambia’s consolation goal.
