The Gambia has on Wednesday 27th October 2021 registered one new COVID 19 case, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases ever confirmed in the country to nine thousand, nine hundred and sixty-three. The positive test rate is 0.16%.
No new COVID-19-related death was registered in the country. The total number of deaths remained at three hundred and forty.
This is the 393rd national situation report since the confirmation of the first case of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in The Gambia, on the 16th March 2020.
Two (2) cases are currently on oxygen therapy.
Five cases were discharged after at least 10 days from the day they tested positive but evaded institutional isolation.
