By Sulayman Bah Gambia indoor volleyball team has been disqualified from the ongoing All Africa Games, Foroyaa Sport can report. The team were toed out of the Games in Congo Brazzaville after failing to make the stipulated time of departure. The indoor team, due to fly out since last week, couldn’t depart owing to financial constraints. The outfit who qualified after reveling in the recently concluded championship in Senegal, were to be airlifted by government via the Sports Council. But for finance issues, indoor team Gambia is stranded in the country, according to a reliable source. And for their inability to send a delegation in the aforementioned discipline, organizers opted to disqualify Gambia. The country’s beach volleyball team though is on brink of flying out for Brazzaville events having secured funding from President of FIVB Dr. Ary S. Graca. ]]>
