Haddy Jammeh and Kumba Kongira are students at Gambia College seeking financial help to pay their tuition fees.
Both of them are from Tanji and pursuing Early Childhood Development (ECD) and each has to pay D21, 000 for three years. Annually, they are to pay D7, 000 for each term.
Haddy Jammeh said they could not pay the first- year tuition fees and had to beg the college admin to allow them to sit to the past exams and promised to pay this year before the semester resumes.
However, she said this is not forthcoming as they don’t have the money to pay. She said their daily transport to the college from Tanji to Brikama is another problem they are grappling with.
Thus, they are calling for support or help from any so that they would be able to continue studying at the College, the oldest tertiary learning institution in the country.
They can be reached at 7498910 (Jammeh) and 2633294 or 6610147 (Kongira).
