Former National Assembly Member Abdou FHS Jarju- of Kombo Central has been sworn in on Monday 16 January 2017 by the 
clerk of the National Assembly.
Abdou FHS Jarju was first sworn in as a National Assembly member in 2012, and now he is back as a nominated member to replace the former nominated member of the National Assembly who was recently appointed as Minister of Information, Communication and Technology and National Assembly matters, Hon. Seedy Njie.
During his swearing in, Hon. Jarju said he would work in accordance with the constitution and the laws of the land in executing his duties and functions in the interest of the Gambian people.
