Gambian ring kingpin Badou Jack is set to resume boxing action with a
fierce battle against WBC Champions Super middleweight Anthony
Dirrell.
Jack, dubbed The Ripper for his no-nonsense aggressive approach in thering, is due to take on Dirrel on 27-0-1, 22Kos who won the WBC super
middleweight title August last year with a twelve round ruling over
Sakio Bika.
The cracking duel slated for April 24th this year will see Gambia 2008
Olympics team captain aiming to down a much heralded opponent
represented by Al Hymon’s Haymon Boxing. Winner of this clash takes on
George Groves WBC 2014 silver winner on a mandatory fight.
Since losing to Dereck Edwards in the first round last February, the
30-year-old Gambian promoted by Floyd Mayweather Promotions, has since
spectacularly bounced back with two undisputed victories in a row.
