Female Student Seeks Scholarship to Start Studies at UTG

A female student who begged for anonymity is seeking scholarship from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST) and all and sundry, to commence studies at the University of The Gambia, after successfully securing admission.

According to her, she has been recently admitted into the University of The Gambia to start a BACHELOR of Science Degree in Information Systems and Technology.

“I am looking for a sponsor from the scholarship board of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, to start my degree program at the UTG, and I am making this solemn appeal because of the immense financial difficulties I have together with my family, to pay for the tuition fees,” she said.

According to her, she attended Yunus Senior Secondary School and obtained nine (9) credits in the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations. She said her parents are very poor and cannot afford to pay for her University fees.
