In his state of the nation address, the President made reference to the provision of seeds and fertiliser at subsidized prices. Farmers are now demanding to have access to fertiliser and seeds.
The first rains have been followed by a dry spell. What is therefore important is to ensure that the seeds and fertiliser get to the farmers the soonest, as they wait for the real rainy season to guarantee downpours of heavy rains.
