By Sulayman Bah Gambia youth international Hamza Barry is being trialed by deposed African Champions Club Esperance of Tunisia, Foroyaa Sport can reveal. The 19-year-old, formerly of Gambia Ports Authority, is offered chance to a trial after attracting interests from a queue of foreign clubs during his debut season with Maltese league champions Valletta. Spanis La Liga side Getafe were reported to have made enquiries in efforts to swoop for the midfielder before Hamza grabbed the offer to test with the North African giants and Tunisian champions ES Tunis. He’s among number of the club players being put through their paces on pre-season. Esperance coach has wide options in the middle of the park but believe the inclusion of a player of Hamza’s caliber –with power and skills –adds creativity to his already stabled midfield. A contract is yet to be signed between Barry and Esperance club board. Hamza turned a foreign-based July 2013 signing for Malta club Valletta on a one-year deal. He remains a Valletta player despite few months to end of his agreement pending a deal with the ES Tunis. ES has won the Tunisian league title 26 times and the Tunisian Cup 14th times.]]>
