Confirming the incident, Dr. Ceesay in a brief interview with this reporter yesterday at his residence in Tallinding said he was held by the police. “I was taking for questioning for few days but I was released today,” he said.

Responding to questions whether he was charged, Dr. Ceesay said he was not charged. “It was just for questioning and I was released without being charged with any offence,” said the medical doctor.

Foroyaa will further contact the police through the spokesperson for details about the detention and will report accordingly.
