The victory at the December 2016 poll is not a victory for hate, destruction, revenge and assault. It is a victory for liberty and prosperity, it is a victory that has created the opportunity for peace not violence, for the eradication of retrogression and all forms of negativity – backwardness, servitude, oppression, discrimination, etc which were experienced under this regime. This victory paves the way for the observance of the rights of all and sundry.
Anyone pursuing a revenge mission in the name of the Coalition can only undermine its mission to rectify the errors of the past. Hate pains the heart and destroys the soul. It has no place in the mission of the Coalition to reconstruct The Gambia.
