A release on GRTS television’s 8pm news bulletin announced that Mr. Dodou Bammy Jagne has been relieved of
his cabinet post as Minister of Transport, Works and Infrastructure and replaced by Bala Garba Jahumpa, who bounces back to his previous portfolio.
Mr. Jagne was first appointed as Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service on 30th June 2016 before the position of Minister of Presidential Affairs was added to his responsibilities on 4th July 2016.
He was appointed as minister of transport, works and infrastructure on 18th August 2016, a portfolio he held for barely 40 days.
In the same vein, Mr. Sulayman Samba continues to be the Secretary General and Head of the Civil Service and minister responsible for Presidential Affairs.
