Disappearance of Alfusainey Fatty and Doudou Touray Continues Beyond Constitutional Limitation of 72Hrs

By Kebba Jeffang The disappearance of two relatives namely; Alfusainey Fatty and Doudou Touray clocks seven and five days respectively after they were picked up from different places by security officers and whisked away to unknown locations.The family source disclosed yesterday that the duo has not been seen or heard from and no one has informed them of their whereabouts since they were arrested last week. The source added: “We are still desperate about their conditions because we don’t know where they are. We do not even know what they have accused of. We are appealing to the authorities to help us access our family members.” It could be recalled that Bunja Fatty, the father of Alfusainey Fatty, resident of Latrikunda Sabiji informed this medium that his son is working at Bwiam hospital, in Foni Kansala, West Coast Region where he was picked up by unknown security personnel on Friday, 2nd January, 2015. He said he doesn’t know what he was arrested for and where he has been detained. He added that he did not receive any information from his place of work concerning his son’s arrest. He added that Doudou Touray, his nephew was also arrested at his residence in Latrikunda Sabiji on Sunday, 4th January, 2015 by unidentified security officers. He said Touray’s vehicle was also later picked up from his home. It was also reported that Touray is a self-employed worker within the tourism industry.]]>
