By Sulayman Bah Dawda Bah marked his return to the Europa League on a bright Dawda Bahnote helping MYPA get over their first hurdle in the first round. The Gambian who dons the club number 10 stripe fielded from the starts and through allocation time helping dispatch off needed passes from the middle of the park. However, it took one moment of brilliance for MYPA to claim first-leg advantage courtesy of Abdullahi’s 76th minute stunner. Up against a club from Cyprus with little experience in the coveted championship, Bah’s MYPA were inevitably favoured to secure all bragging rights and they didn’t disappoint raising to the billing though they won on a fragile score at home. They will be handed a stiff test in their bid to seal off a place into the second round of the qualifiers when they visit Cyprus in week. Dawda had missed competition in Europe since he departed HJK in 2012 for a try out in the German Bundesliga with Augsburg. However, he will hope his return aids his current employers MYPA’s ambition to grab a spot in the tournament group stage.    ]]>
