By Sulayman Bah Gambia international Dawda Bah has parted ways with Finnish Dawda Bahclub MYPA, his club of one season, after the end of the league. The 30-year-old was signed to short term contract by gaffer Muurinen –his coach of many seasons at HJK – with an option to extend early this year. His services were acquired to bolster MYPA’s audacious failed title bid. He was involved for the entire time in MYPA’s never-lacking-drama 2-2 game with Inter-Turku and even got cautioned in the final minutes in what was his 24th appearance for the club. And speaking after the league clash, the former HJK Helsinki midfielder thanked fans and MYPA for their support to him throughout the campaign. He wrote in appreciation of fans’ support: “Hello my team mates, (I) just want (to) take time to thank every one of you. It was nice to play with every one of you, and I want to say thank you for the season. I thank the coaching staff, all the people who are working for MYPA, and the fans, for everything. I wish the club good luck for the future.bye bye” The erstwhile Augsburg starlet didn’t disclose his destination but he’s expected to remain within the top flight in the new season or reunite with league Champions HJK. There had been numerous campaigns by HJK fans for the player to rejoin the capital-based outfit prior to the start of last season.  ]]>
