CRR Rural Electrification project expansion on course-says Minister Sey

The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Omar Sey, one of the APRC liaison officer for Central River Region during theminister-sey Bansang meeting has disclosed that the CRR Rural Electrification Project phases two and three are in the pipeline. He added that some of the communities in CRR have already benefited from electricity supply and electrification process has started in Mamud Fana, Sankulay kunda, Batti Nyol.

“After the election, 40 community health centres will be constructed and from henceforth the school of state enrolled nurses will be increased to 100,” said Minister Sey. According to him, all these initiatives are spearheaded by President Jammeh. He called on the people of Upper Fulladou West to vote for President Jammeh during the forthcoming election, adding that significant development has taken place in the area of health in CRR.

The health Minister stated that President Jammeh has more to offer in the area of Health for the people of CRR, adding that most of the communities can now boast of health facilities unlike before.

The National Women Mobiliser Ajaratou Isatou Jiffanga Jarju advised the party militants that voting in this election is vital for the APRC party, adding that people should not sit and assume that the president has won. She noted that what is important is for people to go in their large numbers during the election and vote for their party leader.

She also informed the party militants that voting will start from 8am and close by 5pm in the evening and thus called on them to go and vote early.
