Coaches to be groomed with Caf B License course

By Sulayman Bah Gambian coaches are set for a career boost with a Caf B license course at the Independence Stadium’s Friendship Hostel. The four-day session beginning September 8th, is aimed at enhancing capacity of the country’s coaches. ‘All interested coaches are urged to collect application forms at the GFF Secretariat in Kanifing and not later than 5th September to effect their payment deadline. Tuition fees of D8000:00 (Eight Thousand Dalasi) should be deposited at this FIBank account # 0100350602,’ says the GFF. Interested participants must be active in coaching for the past one year within the GFF Leagues. The intended participants must bear CAF C’ License and submit their summary of activity report. Individuals must possess an equivalent certificate (foreign diploma /certificates) for the B’ License assessment. Meanwhile in another round of activity, the GFF last week launched an 8-man Beach Soccer Committee. The taskforce will be responsible for supervising the proposed national beach soccer championship to be organized by the Crown Sports entertainment, provide direction for Beach Soccer and assist with the formation of a beach soccer league including outlining equipment for its implementation.
