Chievo’s Yusupha Delighted over Injury Recovery

Gambian starlet Yusupha Bobb now ‘feels good’ after returning from an injury that sidelined him mid-last yusuphaseason.

The 21-year-old sustained the abrasion while with Cittadella where he was on a season-long loan from Serie A club Chievo Verona.

All had looked on track for the former Banjul Hawks’ playmaker until he sustained a serious injury consequently keeping him from playing football for months.

He returned to Verona at elapse of his loan contract and was one of youngsters assessed by Chievo’s first team coach during pre-season before being shipped out on loan again.

The deal with third tier side Taranto was aimed at helping the Gambian’s quick development and enable him rake up minutes under his belt before the big call to Chievo A-team comes ringing.

But while that might not come likely till next season, Yusupha is making most of his current situation becoming one of key players of Taranto and a fan-favourite.

He’d started ten of the club’s twelve games and ‘feels good’ over his rapid progress.

‘Now I feel good after having had some problems at the beginning, but I can still do more’ the erstwhile Gambia U-20 star said.

Featuring in the heart of the midfield in the 0-0 tie with Ali Sowe’s ex-club Juve-Stabia, Bobb said:’ Sorry not to have won the three points against a great team like Juve Stabia. We’ll make it next time. We are getting better at training, we are comfortable, and the results then begin to arrive. ”
