GFF First Echo league winners Gamtel yesterday lay claim to their
league prize money at a presentation held at Football House.
Represented by their club managers, league runners up Real de Banjul,FA Cup holders Wallidan and Gambia Ports Authority were also given
their prizes.
Gamtel beat off competition from Real de Banjul to the league gong to
end years of waiting for the league title. Tapha Manneh charges received
D300,000 while Real pocketed D150,000 with Alagie Sarr’s second
runner-ups GPA grabbing a consolation of D100,000.
Wallidan scooped D150,000 as FF Cup winners while Gamtel runner-ups
clutched D100,000.
