Brufut consolidates lead at summit

Brufut United entrenched their lead at the summit of the country’s second tier making a light work of  Omar JarjueImmigration FC.

Omar Jarjue spurred Brufut in the lead after twenty-eight minutes before Alagie Gibba doubled the advantage in the forty-eighth minute allowing new entrant Malick Ceesay to strike the final nail to the coffin.

The goals condemn the security outfit to slump further down the league order adding to their unimpressive run of games.

Else second-placed Marimoo did just what they thought of Lions of Banjul –teaching them a footballing lesson –with three unanswered goals in the week eight of the Second Division.

Star striker Jankuba Jallow broke the deadlock before Saikou Touray made it two while Jallow scores again to complete a romping in fashion.
