By Sulayman Bah Gambia Football Federation league’s Organising Committee warns the Brikama United fans that serious penalization will be imposed in any future time-wasting tactics. Brikama United supporters were found to have been withholding strayballs in the spectators’ stands in a deliberate attempt to waste time. According to the OC, such was what occurred in Brikama’s fixture against FA Cup holders Banjul United and the GFF league-runners have since written to the Sateba outfit officials asking the club to advise its supporters to desist from such acts or face severe penalties in future. The league’s temporary paused last week will resume March 3rd (tomorrow). Meanwhile, in the second tier, Young Africans and Samger, who had their last week fixture put off as a result of Inter-schools athletics at the SK West mini-stadium, will be compensated D3000 each for their expenses in preparatory cost of the match. The federation in its week update has urged clubs to heed transfer rules noting that a player cannot switch clubs without the transfer window opening.]]>
