Twenty-six cases of the omicron variant of corona virus have been confirmed by the ministry of health. This variant, scientists say, spread more easily than other variants and should therefore be of concern to all.
The advice of the WHO must be adhered to in order to avert death and severe illness caused by this variant. Wearing of face masks, especially when indoors in a crowded place and keeping a distance are necessary to avoid the spread of the disease. Vaccination is also to build one’s immunity.
