Puntalana sashayed past Skypower with two first-half goals enough toPuntalana
seal off victory.
The weekend final played at the Box Bar mini-stadium and watched by a
rambunctious spectator turnout, saw Puntalana reduced Skypower fans to
forlorn figures with hard-hitting reality of watching their clubfinish this year’s nawettan on trophy drought.

Jatta Baldeh, member of Gambia U-17 Caf youth Cup winning squad in 2009 in
Algeria, proved much of a hot potato for Skypower’s defence with
decorating darting runs down the wing as pictured above here.
In Banjul, Lancaster United joggled Dingareh FC’s hopes of a double
trophy scoop out of the window. Buoyed by their league title success
two weeks ago, Dingareh looked every inch the side to win two trophies
this year.
But for resolute play from the opposition, Lancaster made sure
Dingareh’s dream never saw light of day settling the score on 1-0.
And finally at the Serrekunda East grounds, it took heroics from
goalkeeper Saikou Ceesay on penalties to confirm Medina FC champions of
SK East league cup over Milan Rosseneri.
