Bakawsu Fofana gets new village in Senegal Courtesy of the Senegalese government

By Alhagie Sora Imam Bakawsu Fofana the  Islamic preacher, scholar and Imam of Sanchaba Sulay Jobe Fofana Kunda Mosque who fled to Bakawsu FofanaSenegal would on 12 June 2015, inaugurate a new Mosque at the newly established village called Sobayaa Kunda, provincial town of Saejo. Omar Fofana, the younger brother of Imam Bakowsu Fofana approached  this  reporter to break the news and further explained   that the need to give him (Bakawsu) a new village was as result of the continual increase in the number of students he receives on a daily basis at Taslima where he was lodged. He said it is for this reason that his Guardian Alhagie Sedia Jabbi, the grand Marabout of Taslima with the support from the Senegalese government deem it fitting to give him land, where he built a village simultaneously with a mosque which is to be inaugurated on 12 June 2015. In this regard, his landlord Alhagie Sedia Jabbi of Taslima Senegal, Imam Bakowsu Fofana and the family in Senegal, Omar Fofana and the Fofana Kunda Family in the Gambia, are hereby inviting Alhagie Yahya A.J.J Jammeh President of The Republic of The Gambia, President Supreme Islamic Council Alhagie Momodou Lamin Tourary, Mr. Halifa Sallah Secretary General of PDOIS Party and the entire Muslim Umaa in Senegal, the Gambia and the entire region to the  official handing over of Village Stamp of the new Village Alkalo Bakawsu Fofana and also the inauguration of the Mosque where he will serve as the Imam. While thanking President Macky Sall of Senegal, his government and the people of Senegal,  all are invited  to the ceremony.  ]]>
