By Kebba Jeffang Mr. Bai Jobe Njie, the father of Modou Njie, a former member of the Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) who is currently being held for his alleged involvement in the 30th December 2014 foiled coup, has not been seen for 44 days now after he was arrested and taken away by men in plain clothes. A family source revealed that since Mr. Njie was picked up by two men at his residence at Tallinding Dumos around 2pm on Friday, 2 January 2015, he has not been by his family and that his whereabouts are still not known. The source also revealed that trial of Modou Njie, the son of Mr. Jobe, with five others, has already begun before a court martial and that the relatives are allowed access to witness the proceedings.
