QUESTION OF THE DAY
When it was suggested to a taxi driver to go for vaccination he declined. When he was asked why he was putting on a mask he said he was merely fulfilling the requirements of the law. When he was asked whether he was aware of the large number of covid-19 related deaths, he shrugged his shoulder and indicated that he had heard the unbelievable story.
When the vaccination team went to Basori in Kombo East yesterday not a single soul was at the health centre to be vaccinated.
There is need to intensify sensitisation against Covid-19 and use effective messages that will motivate the public to yearn for a shot of the vaccine, use face masks and observe safe distancing.
