QUESTION OF THE DAY
ARE THE FEMALE MEMBERS OF THE DISPLINED FORCE STILL KEPT AWAY FROM THEIR FAMILIES?
Foroyaa is still following the report of encampment of female members of the disciplined forces for weeks without access to their homes and families. The authorities we have contacted are unable or unwilling to comment on the matter. They are constantly referring Foroyaa to the families, most of whom do not want to put the jobs of their love ones at risk.
Leaders do not possess any personal power. They are in possession of state power. It is a power paid for by the tax of the people. Hence that power should not be utilised to coerce but to protect and promote the general welfare. Women shoulder the burden of pleasing their husbands and their employers. They lack the protection of a just system free from coercion .That is the system all should yearn for in order for all to live in liberty, dignity and prosperity.
