Ali Sowe has moved on to a new club again but on an S.OS. call from U.S Vibonese, Foroyaa Sport can report.

Vibonese are a side with the worst of grades in the Italian third division. They are on an appalling run, losing thirteen (13) of their twenty-two league games, drawing eight and with the lowest of match wins in Group C of the Lega Pro.

Relegation now beckons for Vibonese after flirting with demotion for majority of the season. Needing a scoring machine to spare of the club’s current strikers of their woeful profligacy in front of goal, Vibonese quickly turned to Serie A’s Chievo Verona over acquiring their forward Ali Sowe.

Sowe has also been on the wish-list of some clubs higher in standing but in the third tier. However, it was desperate Vibonese who secured the player’s services having forked out a huge stark of cash to Chievo to get the attacker on loan.

The side announced yesterday afternoon that they have added Sowe to their roster on a six month deal.

Sowe, along with Vibonese’s other signings are expected to help lift the side from the current bottom place they occupy and avoid demotion to the fourth tier.

Vibonese is Ali’s seventh club he’d been loaned to since turning professional in 2013.

In another development, veteran Gambian defender Futty Danso has signed for Malaysia’s Super League club Kelantan FA. He becomes the second Gambian trading there after Muhammed Sumareh.

Meanwhile, Yusupha Bobb was also on brink of moving to third division outfit Padua in Italy who are also chasing promotion.
