Adama Jammeh and Gina Bass are through to the semi-finals of the
ongoing All-Africa Games in Congo Bravazzaville, Foroyaa Sport can
report.
The duo amongst a seven-man Gambian athletics team including a coach,
competed on Sunday.Adama, Gambia’s hope for the oncoming Rio 2016 Olympic in Brazil, ran a
timing of 10:40 seconds while team-mate Ebrima Camara clocked 10:60
seconds in the 100m, according to information reaching Foroyaa Sport
from the team’s camp in Brazzaville.
Jammeh’s latest feat makes up for his crash from the IAAF world
Championship in Beijing blamed on stomach itches and books him a place
in the semi-finals of the AA Games.
