In a state of law there should be equality before the law. This means that every life matters. Hence every dead body, no matter how decomposed, must be handled in such a way that forensic evidence would reveal who the person is and how he or she met his or her end. This is why in many countries today, DNA is used to trace or identify who a dead person is.

There is a case hanging which requires proper investigation. Foroyaa is informed of a body found under a bridge between Kampant and Kambong, Foni Kansala, which is reported to have decomposed. Instead of making efforts for the right authorities to handle the matter, improper consultation resulted in the burial of the body without identification.

There is need to educate the public that their role is to report such matters to the police so that they would involve the health authorities to do the necessary fumigation and wear the necessary gears to move the body to where it can be identified.
