By Mustapha Jallow The disappearance of Mr. Thomas Jarju, Commissioner of Prison has now clocked seventy (70) days. The resident of New Yundum, who left home for work at Mile II prison in Banjul on 4 June, 2014, never returned and his family has since then not yet set eyes on him. According to the family, Mr Thomas Jarju went missing on 4th June, 2014, when he set out for work at his office in Banjul but never returned up to date. The family expressed grief and described their current predicament as traumatizing and worsening as their loved one is still missing. Commissioner Jarju’s family couldn’t establish the reason for the commissioner’s sudden disappearance from public view. He is the sole bread winner of the family and has many children, the youngest being a 2 month old boy. ]]>
