IS THERE A NEW PARTY LED BY MAMA KANDEH?
Foroyaa has been making effort to reach Mama Kandeh, a former National Assembly member of the APRC after the APRC held a meeting in Nianija to heal a rift in their party as they face a new situation in the politics of the country where its opponents are up and running.
The APRC supporters mentioned Mama Kandeh as having presidential aspirations. Foroyaa saw the need to give Mama Kandeh the right to reply and explain to the public whether he has registered a new party.
Relatives say that Mama Kandeh is not in town.
Foroyaa is extending invitation to anyone who could shed light whether a new party has been registered or not to contact the paper for an interview.
We hope the APRC is not using the name of Mama Kandeh just to send signals to the dissidents within the party that breaking away is futile. Notwithstanding, the news of a rift in the party broadcast on National TV confirms that all is not well with the party. 2016 is already sending signals of the trends in the upcoming political battle.
