The false information trial of Borry J.Saidy yesterday, January 20, 2016 suffered another delay for the second time in the week at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court but this time due to the observance of the bar’s seniority order by lawyers.

Having to wait for the case of a more senior lawyer, Ousainou Darboe, which started very late, Borry S. Touray, the counsel for the accused, applied for an adjournment of his case before Principal Magistrate Hilary Abeke in order to attend another matter in a different court.

The court upheld his application and the matter was adjourned till 1st February, 2016.

The accused person was charged with giving false information to the office of the President in which he claimed unfair treatment at his work place at the Banjul International Airport as the acting Manager of Air Traffic Services. He denied the allegation in his plea.
