Currently, two main wars have threatened world peace and a third one is emerging, which the world must treat with caution. The two main wars that are threatening world peace are the ones between Russia and Ukraine, and Israel and Hamas respectively.
The fact that the UN Security Council, the UN General Assembly and the various power blocks in the world could all unite to call for restraint in the conflict between Isreal and Hamas, and between Russia and Ukraine, respectively, is what is containing the violence in the regions where the wars are being fought. The breaking out of hostility between Israel and Iran is a way of extending the unpopular war between Hamas and Israel into a global conflict that will be fought by states, but it will encourage the propping terrorist groups of innumerable proportion, that will leave no one safe on this earth; a world where states have become so irresponsible that they can burn nuclear facilities that can cause radioactive contamination that could send many to their deaths and make it a normal practice to send agents to kill presidents, prime ministers, prominent military and civil state authorities should be considered as a clear pathway to paving the road of hell on earth.
This is a road map that can be seen by all who are endowed with reason and conscience. Such people should make their voices heard in calling for de-escalation and the taking of appropriate steps to stop the wars that are raging between Russia and Ukraine, and between Hamas and Israel, and putting to a halt the war between Israel and Iran.
The president of the United States should remember these very words of those who pray to forgive trespasses against them and for others to forgive their trespasses and be delivered from evil. The world needs to be delivered from evil. Only leaders who love good and hate evil can make good prevail over evil and therefore save the world from wars of attrition. The world is waiting for such leaders to pave the way to international peace and security rather than the pathway to hell on earth.
