All Gambians should hang their heads in shame as the National Assembly begins to examine how Ex-President Jammeh’s seized assets were disposed of. The objective of those who established the Commission was to teach those who are in position of public trust, lessons on accountability and probity in managing the affairs of the state.

Now accusations and counter accusations are being made leading to civil strife and court action. Ex-President Jammeh must be having fun looking at what has become of those who sought to prove that he has brought the office of President into disrepute by acquiring properties worth billions of dalasi.

Foroyaa advises that tempers should be contained to allow the National Assembly to do its work. The atmosphere is already charged.
