Mamut Saine linked to leave Tunisia

Saine signed on a four-year deal from local club Seaview FC becoming the first Gambian to be contracted by the Tunis-based team in 2012. The ex-Gambia U-20 midfield tactician caught the eyes of Bizertin scouts reportedly during Gambia U-20s preliminary qualifier match against Morocco in Rabat. Mamut, fondly christened after retired Spain international Marcos Senna, went on to become an integral part of his new club featuring in CAF Confederation Cup matches for the outfit. However, barely two years into his four-year contract, Mamut has fallen out of favour at his Tunisian club and is strongly tipped by reports, along with three other players, to leave before start of the new season. Currently Mamut is reported to be in Spain on a sabbatical.]]>
