There is need for swift action to reach an agreement with the vendors whose businesses once flourished in the Sandika Market. At the moment, they come to the ground daily.
Discussion with the vendors for the past four weeks has revealed that they are in a state of uncertainty.
The central government and the municipality should engage all stakeholders and solve the problems of the Sandika once and for all.
We have also been following the question of ownership of the land where the Sandika is located. That problem is still unresolved.
