Foroyaa went round to see whether the promise of the bakers’ association to put a hold on their strike until the price of bread is agreed with the government is being implemented. The price and availability of bread are still holding in some places but in other places shortage of bread is steadily being noticed. Foroyaa will find out from the bakers’ association whether there has been any drop in production pending the outcome of the negotiation.
Unless the negotiation is quickly concluded, the real danger of reduction of production or weight of bread will keep looming.
